Chapter 104: Men's Restroom? Women's Restroom?

"Tang Zhong. Don't be nervous." Bai Su said soothingly.

"If you say that again, I really will get nervous." Tang Zhong said with a wry smile. Along the way, Bai Su had said those words to him countless times already.

"Alright. I'll stop." Bai Su smiled. "Your mental fortitude is so strong. I'm sure you won't get nervous."

While the car was still on the road, Bai Su's phone kept ringing nonstop. Every call was from the television station's staff, urging them to come over quickly, saying the show was about to start and they needed to arrive early to make preparations.

The moment the car came to a stop at the entrance of the television station, a middle-aged woman wearing glasses came forward to greet them. She shook hands with Bai Su and said, "Manager Bai, hurry on over. The director is getting anxious. He was worried you might be late or not show up at all—"

"I'm terribly sorry. We set off a full hour early. But the traffic on the road was just too terrible." Bai Su apologized repeatedly. In truth, they had only left half an hour early. When they got near the television building, Bai Su didn't have the driver pull up directly; instead, she had him drive around the area a couple of extra laps. "We already agreed to come, so how could we possibly not show up? Being able to attend the Pearl TV Station's two-hundredth anniversary celebration is truly an honor for us."

The middle-aged woman smiled and nodded, urging them on. "Come on in, quickly."

Because this was a grand gala, they saw countless people bustling about as they walked in. There were also many familiar faces they had seen on television, but everyone just exchanged brief greetings before going their separate ways. Throughout this whole process, Tang Zhong never had a chance to speak. It was Bai Su who handled all the small talk and socializing.

Everyone they encountered greeted Bai Su warmly, and Bai Su responded with great poise and grace. A small detail could reveal a person's character—Bai Su was indeed an extremely capable woman with tremendous charisma.

The middle-aged woman led them to the backstage lounge and said, "You two rest here for a while. I'll go report to the director. You should also make your preparations—you'll be going on stage soon."

With that, the middle-aged woman turned and entered the monitoring room.

"I'd like to go to the restroom." Tang Zhong said quietly.

"Go ahead." Bai Su said. "Turn left when you go out, and it's right there."

Tang Zhong nodded and walked toward the restroom with his head lowered.

He reached the restroom door and was just about to push it open when the door to the women's restroom next door swung open. A woman with delicate features looked at him in surprise and said, "Tang Xin, you're going the wrong way. That's the men's restroom."

Tang Zhong's body went rigid instantly.

He looked up at the sign on the restroom door—the old man smoking a pipe—and thought to himself, I am a man, and I want to go into the men's restroom.

But if he went in, and this woman later told people the amusing story of Tang Xin walking into the men's restroom, his identity might very well be exposed.

So, he slapped his own forehead, put on a look of sudden realization, smiled at the woman, and charged straight into the women's restroom.

"Ah! Tang Xin." A woman looked at her with delight and asked, "Do you happen to have a sanitary pad on you? My period suddenly came out of nowhere. I'm in desperate need."

Tang Zhong nearly burst into tears.

He shook his head, then quickly ducked into one of the stalls.

"So impatient, huh." The woman muttered disapprovingly.

After Tang Zhong had left, Zhang Helen giggled and said to Lin Huiyin, "Sister Huiyin, do you think Tang Zhong went to the men's restroom or the women's restroom?"

Bai Su's mind jolted, as if a clap of thunder had struck through her thoughts.

She finally realized what she had been overlooking.

She hurried toward the restroom and stood hesitantly between the two adjacent doors—the men's and the women's.

After thinking it over, she finally pushed open the women's restroom door.

"Tang Xin—" Bai Su called out.

There was no answer.

"Tang Xin—" Bai Su called out again, then remembered that even if Tang Zhong were in there, he couldn't possibly answer. Who knew whether there were other people in those stalls?

So, she went from door to door, trying each one.

Tang Zhong was in the middle of relieving himself. He had just turned around and opened the door a crack when Bai Su pushed it open.

And then—

And then Tang Zhong's urine sprayed right onto Bai Su's pants.

Bai Su stared at Tang Zhong with utter shock, and Tang Zhong's brain couldn't process what was happening either.

How could she just barge straight in like that?

What shocked Bai Su was—how was this guy peeing standing up?

One second, two seconds, three seconds—

It wasn't until Bai Su felt the warm liquid spreading against her pants that she snapped back to her senses and slammed the restroom door shut with a bang.

"Damn it." She cursed, her face flushed red and her ears burning. When she thought about the sight she had seen when Tang Zhong turned around with that dumbfounded expression, she felt her body grow hot.

That bastard—he was so small, yet so big.

The restroom door was pushed open again. Today, because the television station was hosting an event, there were many artists and staff members around. So, the restroom was busy.

"Oh, Manager Bai, what are you standing here daydreaming about?" A graceful middle-aged woman smiled and greeted Bai Su.

"Miss Zhang, hello. I came to—" Bai Su hesitated slightly, then said, "Tang Xin's period suddenly came on. She called me to bring her a sanitary pad."

"Oh, I see. The Butterfly Group is performing the opening dance, right? You'll need to be careful when you're dancing." The woman reminded her kindly.

Tang Zhong, who had finished urinating but didn't dare leave the stall, wanted to die when he heard this.

He wanted to die a hundred times.

The door of the stall next to Tang Zhong's was pushed open. The woman he had seen when he first came in walked out and said to Bai Su, "No wonder Tang Xin rushed in so frantically earlier. She wouldn't even respond when I spoke to her, and she looked like she was in a lot of pain—does she have problems with menstrual cramps? Sigh. Young girls really need to be extra careful about that. When your period is about to come, never eat anything you shouldn't. I know a traditional Chinese medicine doctor—that Qin Luo who won the Nobel Prize in Medicine—he prescribed me a remedy for menstrual cramps last time that was very effective. You should have Tang Xin go see him. I guarantee that after one course of treatment, she'll never suffer from that problem again. Menstrual cramps are a real illness—when they hit, they can kill you."

"Alright." Bai Su replied with a smile. "Once we get through these busy days, I'll take Tang Xin to see him. I'm just worried he might not be willing to take the case."

"He will. Even though he's very famous, he's still quite approachable." The woman said. "As long as it's a beautiful woman, he usually won't refuse."

"—"

"Manager Bai, what happened to your clothes?" The older woman pointed at the 'map' on Bai Su's white pants.

Bai Su pretended not to care as she brushed at the water stain with her hand, saying, "I accidentally spilled some water while drinking just now. It's fine. It'll dry in a little while."

Bai Su waited a bit longer until both women had left the restroom. Then she quickly went over and knocked on the door of the stall where Tang Zhong was. Tang Zhong opened the door, and the two of them hurried out.

"Go meet up with Helen and Huiyin first." Bai Su instructed in a low voice.

"What about you?" Tang Zhong asked.

Bai Su didn't answer.

She needed to go out and change her pants.

No matter what, she had to get rid of those pants that smelled of a certain rank odor.

She wasn't a celebrity, so she normally didn't carry spare pants with her when going out. But Lin Huiyin had some clothes in the motorhome parked outside.

Her figure was about the same as Lin Huiyin's. Although Lin Huiyin was a bit slimmer than her, with a little squeezing, she could still fit into her pants.

At eight o'clock. The Pearl TV Station's two-hundredth anniversary celebration, which had the attention of all of Pearl City, or perhaps the entire Huaxia Nation, officially began.

There was no light on the stage. It was completely dark.

When the dazzling lights suddenly blazed to life, the three members of the Butterfly Group were already standing on the stage. They stood side by side in a row. Tang Zhong wore a black suit and a dress hat, radiating striking charisma. Lin Huiyin wore a black leather skirt, sexy and cool. Zhang Helen wore a short yellow dress, cute and charming.

Clang—

Lin Huiyin and Zhang Helen stepped forward together.

Clang—

The two of them stepped forward again.

Clang—

The two of them stepped forward once more.

Now, they had pulled far away from Tang Zhong. Two in front, one behind.

Then, passionate and fiery music rang out, and the two of them began to dance in unison.

Warm applause erupted from the gala venue. Clearly, everyone was very pleased with the two girls' performance.

After they finished the first section of synchronized dance, Zhang Helen spun around and abruptly yanked Tang Zhong's tie.

Like a robot being instantly activated, Tang Zhong, who had remained perfectly still all along, began dancing wildly.

This time, it was Lin Huiyin and Zhang Helen's turn to remain perfectly still.

The applause from the venue grew even more intense.

When Tang Zhong finished his solo dance and Lin Huiyin and Zhang Helen joined back in, the climax of the entire dance began.

Dynamism. Coolness. And rhythm. They maintained all of it perfectly.

Moreover, the entire dance was fluid and natural, making the audience's blood boil with excitement.

Tang Zhong, performing on stage for the first time, showed no signs of stage fright, nor did he ever forget a single move due to nervousness. He was the soul of the entire dance. Under his lead, Lin Huiyin and Zhang Helen—the black butterfly and the colorful butterfly fluttering around him—bloomed with breathtaking beauty.

Clang—

When the sound of heavy metal struck again, the three of them went from extreme motion to extreme stillness in an instant.

Lin Huiyin had only left a pair of jeans in the vehicle. Bai Su had to use a great deal of effort to squeeze her two full, curvy thighs into them. After giving the driver some instructions, she hurried back toward the television station.

The Butterfly Group was about to take the stage. She was worried that something might go wrong while she wasn't there.

She rushed all the way back, and just as she reached the backstage area, she heard thunderous applause coming from within.

Bai Su's footsteps came to a halt, and a look of heartfelt relief spread across her face.

She knew—their performance had been a success. An unprecedented success!
