“Boss, the city gate of New Leaf City must be heavily guarded by now. Where are we going?” Niu Wuji asked as they fled.

“At first I planned to go straight to the imperial capital. But since this happened, I’ve decided to change course and head somewhere else first,” Wu Tian said after a moment’s thought.

The treasure site for the Black Dragon set, the Dark God Armor, was in the Frenzied Martial Empire, though it lay off the route to the imperial capital. With that, Wu Tian released Xiao Hui’s hand, sprang into the air, and in a few swift strides rushed straight into a cluster of city guards.

“You bunch of bastards, are you looking for this old man? I’m right here. If you want trouble, come at me. But I’m warning you now: if you know what’s good for you, get lost. Otherwise, I’ll show no mercy!” Wu Tian shouted, Black Dragon Blade in hand, pointing it at the city guards.

Without the slightest hesitation, the city guards immediately launched their attack. The moment Wu Tian finished speaking, a dense rain of arrows shot toward him from all directions.

“So there are some real experts after all,” Wu Tian said, narrowing his eyes. Every one of them was above the Martial Spirit realm, and even the weakest among them was at the fifth level of Martial Spirit.

“Of course! These are the six most capable men under my father, the six city-defending generals of New Leaf City. No matter how strong you are, you’re useless against them!” Wei Aoxiong said with his arms folded confidently.
