Ye Luo nodded slightly, then picked up her backpack and got out of the car.

As soon as she stepped out, she entered the school grounds.

While walking in, she saw Chen Chen near the lawn and along the path, holding a pen in one hand and a discipline book in the other, blocking two boys.

Both boys had their backs to her, so she couldn’t see their faces, only that they were about the same height, tall and slim.

One boy looked proper, wearing the school uniform, a backpack slung over his shoulder, and carrying another identical backpack in his hand.

The other boy, however, was completely unruly, with no backpack at all, munching on a bun in one hand and holding a bottle of milk in the other. His short hair was dyed into seven colors, his clothes and pants were rainbow-hued, his sneakers matched, and he even wore fake brick-shaped earrings that gleamed with light. From head to toe, he was striking and garishly bright.

“Look at you! How can you come back dressed like this?” Chen Chen, the school’s discipline officer, clearly couldn’t stand the boy’s rainbow attire. “Do you realize how bad an impression you make coming into school like this?”

The rainbow-haired boy was blocked and responded with clear impatience, “Here you go again, nagging! Do you know how many times you’ve said this to me? Have I changed? No!”

“So just because you won’t change, I shouldn’t say anything?” Chen Chen laughed in exasperation.

Ye Luo paid no attention to their argument and planned to walk right past, but Chen Chen called out to her, “Hey, He Luo, wait up! I have something to tell you!”

She stopped in her tracks.

“Come over here. Wait a moment, I’ll talk to you soon. And it’s a good chance for you to meet your classmates—you’ve been here more than a week and haven’t seen them yet.” Chen Chen pulled her over to where the two boys stood.

Ye Luo then realized the two boys were not only handsome, but identical.

“This is Qin Zhaowen,” Chen Chen said, pointing to the boy in the tidy uniform. Then, indicating the rainbow-clad one, she added, “And this is Qin Zhaoyu. They’re twins. Zhaoyu is the younger brother, Zhaowen is the elder. Both are in your class.”

Qin Zhaoyu?

Wasn’t he the one her ancestor pretended was the school bully?

If she hadn’t already discovered that her ancestor was actually the notorious troublemaker of Seventh High herself, looking at Qin Zhaoyu’s rainbow getup and swagger, she would have believed he was the school bully.

“Well, you should get to know each other. This is He Luo, the new student who transferred last Monday. She’s the flower of your class,” Chen Chen introduced them.

Qin Zhaowen smiled and greeted her, “Hello.”

Ye Luo replied politely, “Hello.”

The rainbow-haired boy, Qin Zhaoyu, for some reason just snorted coldly at her, “Wait till we get to the classroom—I’ll deal with you then!”

Chen Chen immediately snapped, “Who do you think you’re dealing with?”

“What’s it to you? Always meddling, I’ve never met anyone as annoying as you!” Qin Zhaoyu was at his wit’s end.

Just then, he finished eating his bun and, with a rather stylish flourish, tossed the plastic wrapper toward the nearby trash can.

But it missed.

Qin Zhaoyu: “…”

“School rules forbid littering,” Chen Chen reminded him, making it clear he should pick it up and throw it away properly.

Qin Zhaoyu, unwilling to lose face, retorted stubbornly, “So you’ll deduct points, right? Go ahead!”

Chen Chen laughed in exasperation, “Do you even have any points left to deduct? Yours have long since run out—you’re over two hundred points in the negative! Rounding up, you’re a total two hundred and fifty!”

Qin Zhaoyu: “…”

Ye Luo: “…”
