"Eight million? Heh, President Chen, I know you have money, but please, let's not haggle over the price," Li Zhengdong said with a helpless smile.

"What? Do you still think eight million is too little?" Chen Yang asked coolly.

Li Zhengdong continued with a helpless laugh, "President Chen, setting everything else aside, just look at the location of my property—it's worth more than eight million."

"Very well. Since you don't agree, we can cooperate another time. I have never liked forcing people to do things they don't want to," Chen Yang said with a faint smile.

With that, Chen Yang stood up from his chair, looked at Lin Qianyao, and said, "President Lin, let's go."

"Right."

Lin Qianyao gave Chen Yang a slight smile and stood up as well. However, he turned to Li Zhengdong and added, "President Li, eight million is not a small sum. One shouldn't be too greedy."

Li Zhengdong frowned, saying nothing.

Lin Qianyao immediately turned to follow Chen Yang as they walked out. Just as Chen Yang had taken seven steps, Li Zhengdong suddenly called out from behind him, "Wait, President Chen!"

Chen Yang smiled slightly, stopped in his tracks, turned to face Li Zhengdong, and asked, "Have you made up your mind?"

Li Zhengdong nodded, his face flushed. "Yes, I have."

"Good. I will come by tomorrow with President Lin to sign the contract," Chen Yang said softly.

"Fine, it's a deal," Li Zhengdong said, standing up from his chair with a serious expression.

"Rest assured, I am a man of my word in all my dealings," Chen Yang said nonchalantly.

Having said this, Chen Yang left the conference room without looking back, with Lin Qianyao following closely behind.

Chen Yang and Lin Qianyao left the martial arts gym and got into the car. As soon as Lin Qianyao sat in the driver's seat, he looked at Chen Yang with a complex expression and asked, "President Chen, regarding this matter with Xu Tianmeng, I will leave it to you and follow your instructions."

"Very well," Chen Yang nodded, looking relaxed.

Lin Qianyao gave a bitter smile, then asked, "So, I’ll come with you tomorrow to sign the contract with Li Zhengdong?"

"No problem," Chen Yang replied calmly.

"Understood."

Lin Qianyao nodded and drove toward the Dongjiang Hotel.

Chen Yang knew he wouldn't make it back to Linhai tonight, so he decided to stay the night at the Dongjiang Hotel. Lin Qianyao was an old friend of the hotel manager, so getting a room for Chen Yang was a trivial matter.

On the way to the hotel, Chen Yang’s mind was filled with thoughts of Qin Muxue. He knew she would be curious about him staying the night in Dongjiang, but he had already prepared an excuse: he would simply blame everything on Lin Qianyao. Therefore, he didn't feel it would be difficult to explain to her.

Half an hour later, Lin Qianyao personally escorted Chen Yang to a high-end presidential suite. After showing him around the room, Lin Qianyao was about to leave, but Chen Yang stopped him, needing him to help provide a plausible explanation for Qin Muxue.

Once Lin Qianyao stayed behind, Chen Yang immediately called Qin Muxue. "Hey, honey."

On the other end of the line, Qin Muxue was in Han Qin’s hospital room. With her left arm resting in front of her, she held the phone with her right hand, her delicate eyebrows slightly furrowed. "You're not coming back tonight? You're staying over in Dongjiang?"

"Yes, honey. You know what? I came to the Huading Group headquarters today and saw President Lin. He's actually right here with me now," Chen Yang said, feigning excitement.

Qin Muxue’s heart skipped a beat at these words. Chen Yang had met President Lin Qianyao? This was incredibly exciting for her.

A small smile played on her lips. "Is that so? Make sure to learn as much as you can from President Lin."

"I know. I'm sorry, I won't be able to go back and keep you company tonight," Chen Yang apologized.

Qin Muxue’s brow furrowed slightly before relaxing again. "As long as you are working hard and learning, I will always support you."

"Thank you, honey," Chen Yang said sincerely. Her words touched him deeply; she was truly a wonderful girl.

"Alright, if there's nothing else, I'll hang up now," Qin Muxue said.

"Okay."

Chen Yang smiled faintly and waited for her to hang up before taking the phone away from his ear. He immediately looked at Lin Qianyao and said, "Alright, President Lin, you can head back now. Drive safely."

Lin Qianyao gave a helpless smile, said his goodbyes, and left.

Early the next morning, Chen Yang and Lin Qianyao arrived at the Zhengdong Martial Arts Gym conference room and signed the full transfer contract with Li Zhengdong. Once the contract was signed, Chen Yang paid the money immediately. He was generous and efficient, clearing up all loose ends cleanly.

After the payment went through, Li Zhengdong was beaming with excitement. Just then, a martial arts instructor burst into the conference room, looking anxious. "Master Li, there's a group of people outside causing trouble, claiming to be from Xu Tianmeng's crew."

"Xu Tianmeng?" Li Zhengdong’s face changed the moment he heard the name. But he quickly reminded himself that he was no longer the head of the gym, so why should he worry? He frowned at the instructor and said, "President Chen is the one in charge of the gym now."

The instructor looked at Chen Yang and asked, "President Chen, will you handle this?"

"Of course."

Chen Yang slowly stood up from his chair and sneered, "Xu Tianmeng’s men aren't here to cause trouble for the gym; they are here for me. Even if I weren't the new owner, this matter would still fall on me."

After saying this, Chen Yang said coolly to Lin Qianyao, "President Lin, let’s go out and take a look."

"Right," Lin Qianyao nodded quickly.

Chen Yang led Lin Qianyao out of the conference room. As they stepped out the front door, they saw four burly men dressed in green camouflage uniforms staring at them. Though they looked different, they were all well-built, and their loose uniforms couldn't hide the fact that they were trained fighters.

As soon as they saw Chen Yang, they walked toward him. When they reached him, a man with a side-parted hairstyle and a rectangular face asked, "So, I hear you're the one in charge of this gym now, is that right?"

Chen Yang chuckled mockingly, "That’s right. Everything here is decided by me, and we don't welcome Xu Tianmeng’s people here. Please leave."

The rectangular-faced man squinted and sneered, "Do you know who you're talking to?"

"A human, aren't you? Or are you a dog?" Chen Yang taunted.

"Damn it! Brother Meng said this gym is not allowed to stay open. You have three days to pack up and close down. If the gym is still open after three days, Brother Meng will send people to help you move out," the man growled, his brow furrowed.

"What did you just say? My hearing isn't so good; I didn't quite catch that," Chen Yang said, stretching his neck with a confused expression. Of course, he was just pretending, and everyone could tell.

Seeing that Chen Yang was playing games, the man waved his hand and shouted, "Don't spare anyone here!"

Seeing that the men were about to strike, Lin Qianyao couldn't hold back anymore. He had to step in; he knew that getting into a fight with Xu Tianmeng’s men was no small matter. He stepped forward to block the man and said, "Go back and tell President Xu that I, Lin Qianyao, will personally visit him tomorrow to have a proper chat about everything concerning him."

The man grabbed Lin Qianyao by the collar without hesitation, squinting mockingly. "You want to go see Brother Meng yourself? Who the hell do you think you are? Whether Brother Meng even wants to see you is another question."

Humiliated like this, Lin Qianyao’s eyes filled with rage, a fire burning in his chest. However, he held back; he didn't want a total fallout with Xu Tianmeng, so he had to endure it.

But just then, Chen Yang spoke up coldly from the side, "There are three martial arts instructors here who are quite capable. Go ahead—whoever breaks one of their legs, I'll reward you with one hundred thousand. Break an arm, and I'll reward you with one hundred thousand."

"If you beat them until they vomit blood and they end up in the hospital for a month, I'll give you two hundred thousand. If you can put them in the hospital for half a year, I'll give you five hundred thousand."

"I mean what I say when it comes to money. If nobody wants it, then I’ll have to do it myself."

Everyone present was stunned by Chen Yang's words. The three instructors standing behind Chen Yang, including the former owner Li Zhengdong, looked at him with astonishment.

Chen Yang looked at them, and seeing they were still frozen, he grinned. "What? Don't want to earn this money?"

Li Zhengdong was the first to speak. "Is that a promise?"

"A gentleman’s word is as good as gold."

Li Zhengdong cracked his knuckles. "If I put two of them in the hospital for half a year, that’s one million, right?"

Li Zhengdong suddenly rushed forward, grabbed the rectangular-faced man by the collar, and slapped him across the face twice. Seeing Li Zhengdong take action, the other two instructors rushed toward Xu Tianmeng’s men, fearing they would miss out on the reward.

The rectangular-faced man cursed, thinking they were all a bunch of lunatics. He managed to break free from Li Zhengdong’s grip and turned to run. His three companions did the same.

The man dove into a black business sedan parked on the roadside, and his companions jumped in after him. As he sat by the door, he looked back at Chen Yang with a menacing scowl before pulling the door shut. "You just wait! Just you wait!"

"Quick, Master Li, they haven't left yet!" Chen Yang shouted suddenly.

Terrified, the man slammed the door shut, and the car sped away.

Chen Yang and Lin Qianyao laughed. His words had been a bluff to scare them off, and clearly, it had worked.

At the same time, Chen Yang watched the tail lights of the sedan, his eyes cold. *It seems this Xu Tianmeng will be a real problem down the line,* he thought to himself.
