The eight subordinates nodded in unison. Gao Song, looking satisfied, said, "Good, follow me."

Holding a master key card capable of opening any door in the hotel, Gao Song moved through the building without obstruction. Ten minutes later, he arrived at the door of Chen Yang’s room with his men. He took a deep breath, turned to his subordinates, and whispered, "Stay sharp. I’m opening the door."

As soon as he unlocked the door, his eight men surged into the room like a pack of wolves. They were armed, and upon reaching the bed, they thrust their blades repeatedly into the quilt. However, one of them noticed something amiss; he pulled back the covers to find the bed completely empty.

Just as Gao Song and his men stood in confusion, the lights suddenly flickered on. Chen Yang was sitting calmly on a brown leather sofa. Beside him, Qin Hu and ten of his elite fighters stared at Gao Song and his men with bloodthirsty eyes.

Seeing Chen Yang sitting there, Gao Song’s face turned grim. He swallowed nervously. Just then, Chen Yang gave the command: "Take them."

Qin Hu and his ten martial arts masters charged forward. As trained fighters—the kind who could take on ten opponents at once—they made short work of Gao Song and his men. In no time, they had subdued the entire group. Qin Hu stepped on Gao Song’s face, leaving the man looking utterly wretched and terrified.

Seeing that Gao Song had been neutralized, Chen Yang stood up slowly. He walked over to Gao Song and smiled faintly. "It seems this was Xu Tianmeng’s idea, wasn’t it?"

Gao Song remained defiant, his expression icy. "Since you’ve caught me, do whatever you want. Kill me or torture me, it’s all the same."

"Are you really that tough?" Chen Yang asked, looking skeptical.

Gao Song closed his eyes and said nothing.

Chen Yang immediately ordered, "Qin Hu, dismantle one of his arms."

"Understood."

Qin Hu nodded, grabbed Gao Song’s arm, and prepared to snap it. Just before he could act, Gao Song’s eyes flew open. "Wait! Wait!"

Chen Yang curled his lip. "So, you are afraid after all?"

With his brows tightly furrowed, Gao Song said, "Even if you kill me, I want to die knowing the truth. How did you find out?"

Qin Hu sneered, "Hmph, Mr. Chen saw through Xu’s insincerity long ago. He had us waiting in the room because he anticipated Xu Tianmeng would try to have him killed. We set a trap, and you walked right into it."

Gao Song closed his eyes in despair. He knew there was no way out; he had no choice but to face Chen Yang’s retribution.

*Crack!*

Qin Hu snapped one of Gao Song’s arms, and a miserable scream tore through the room. Gao Song wailed for a moment before the sheer agony caused him to pass out.

Seeing him unconscious, Qin Hu turned to Chen Yang. "Mr. Chen, he’s passed out from the pain."

"I know," Chen Yang said coolly.

"How should we deal with him?" Qin Hu asked with a frown.

Chen Yang thought for a moment. "Hand him over to the police. Take some photos of the scene first, then send him in."

Qin Hu nodded instantly. "Understood."

Afterward, Qin Hu knocked the rest of the group unconscious, tied them up, and contacted the authorities. As for Chen Yang, he sat back on the sofa, contemplating how to handle Xu Tianmeng.

By four in the morning, the group had been hauled away, and peace returned to the room. Noting the late hour, Qin Hu walked up to Chen Yang earnestly. "Mr. Chen, it’s late. You should get some rest."

"You all should rest too. I’m going to think things over a bit longer," Chen Yang replied with a smile.

Qin Hu nodded. "Very well. We’ll get some sleep then. You take care, sir."

"Right." Chen Yang smirked slightly as Qin Hu left.

Lost in thought on the sofa, Chen Yang eventually drifted off to sleep. When he opened his eyes again, it was eight in the morning. He stretched, and just then, his phone rang. It was Lin Qianyao. Chen Yang answered immediately. "What is it?"

"Mr. Chen, did Gao Song come to cause trouble for you last night?" Lin Qianyao asked anxiously.

Chen Yang smiled lightly. "He did. They tried to finish me off, but I saw through it in time, so I was lucky enough to be fine."

Lin Qianyao couldn't help but curse, "That Xu Tianmeng! Just as you predicted, a dog can never stop eating filth."

"If a dog could change its nature, it wouldn't be a dog," Chen Yang said coldly. His gaze sharpened. "Since Xu Tianmeng wants to play, I won't let him off easily."

"Indeed," Lin Qianyao agreed. "What about Gao Song? Did you send him to the police?"

"Of course. This is no minor matter; it might even implicate Xu Tianmeng. I’m not sure how tight-lipped Gao Song will be, but regardless, I am going to deal with Xu Tianmeng," Chen Yang said firmly.

"Very well, Mr. Chen. I’ll handle the external affairs; you focus on dealing with Xu Tianmeng," Lin Qianyao said seriously.

"Good. I'm hanging up now," Chen Yang said, ending the call.

Immediately after, he summoned Qin Hu and the ten masters. "I have a task for you: capture Xu Tianmeng and bring him to me by tonight."

Qin Hu and the men nodded in unison. They were deeply loyal to Chen Yang now, especially after he had rewarded them with a million-dollar bonus.

As Qin Hu and his men set off, Chen Yang lay down on the bed, still feeling tired from the previous night.

To Chen Yang’s surprise, Qin Hu called at three in the afternoon to report that Xu Tianmeng had been captured and was currently being held at the martial arts school.

Chen Yang was stunned by the speed of the operation. Nevertheless, it was good news, and he had to see for himself. He left the hotel and drove to the school.

Inside the training hall, he found Xu Tianmeng bound and gagged. Xu stood straight, his brows locked in a scowl. Despite being the captive, he maintained an arrogant air, acting as if the situation meant nothing.

Chen Yang walked up to him. Only then did Xu Tianmeng look him in the eye. "Release me at once, or you will surely regret this."

"Regret? What do I have to regret? I already knew you were a dog that couldn't change its ways," Chen Yang said with an icy laugh.

Xu Tianmeng’s gaze remained cold. "I am the king of the Dongjiang underworld. A camel that’s dead is still bigger than a horse. So what if you’ve captured me? A mere word from me, and I can have people kill you."

"Is that so? And what are you going to do now? Do you want me to let you go?" Chen Yang asked with a sneer.

Xu Tianmeng replied coldly, "If you don't let me go, then we’ll just go down together."

"I’m not going down with you. My life is worth far more than yours. I didn't have the means to replace you before, but now the conditions are ripe. You’ve committed acts that have turned everyone against you, and I can take your place," Chen Yang laughed.

"You? Replace me?" Xu Tianmeng looked hideous, then burst into laughter. "You? Who do you think you are?"

Before he could finish his sentence, a staff member rushed into the training hall. "Mr. Chen... it’s... it’s bad! There are a lot of people outside, shouting for us to let them go! You’d better come out and see!"

Xu Tianmeng threw his head back and laughed. "Chen, my men are here. Prepare to die!"

Chen Yang glanced coldly at Xu Tianmeng, then turned to Qin Hu. "Keep an eye on him. I’m going out to take a look."

"Mr. Chen, be careful," Qin Hu urged.

"It’s fine. I’ve seen bigger scenes than this. No matter how many people there are, they can’t scare me," Chen Yang said coldly, striding toward the door.
