When Qin Dong heard this, he let out a cold laugh and said, “So what? Don’t I have more people than you now? My brothers here could drown you with just a mouthful of water each.”

Faced with Qin Dong’s provocation, Chen Yang maintained a faint smile at the corners of his lips and asked, “Are you trying to compare numbers with me now?”

“Cut the crap. From now on, stay away from this place. Xiao Rongfei, take him away,” Qin Dong said coldly, turning his icy gaze towards Xiao Rongfei.

Xiao Rongfei, not wanting to make matters worse, softly said to Chen Yang, “Mr. Chen, a wise man takes the long view. Let’s leave for now.”

Hearing this, Chen Yang looked at her and smiled. “President Xiao, if a woman tried to humiliate you by pulling your hair, would you just walk away so generously?”

Xiao Rongfei immediately understood his meaning, feeling a bit embarrassed. “You misunderstand, Mr. Chen. I just don’t want things to escalate.”

Chen Yang smiled faintly again and then picked up his phone, dialing Wu Guangde.

After making the call, Chen Yang looked at Qin Dong with a smile. “You can’t get out of this today. As for who has more people, you’re bound to lose.”

Qin Dong, full of irritation, said to the man with the earring, “Dingzi, let’s go. I don’t have time to waste on this idiot.”

Qin Dong got into his car and started to drive away. But just as he was about to start the engine, Chen Yang moved swiftly, snatching the car keys away, and sneered, “Leaving so soon? Trying to run away?”

Qin Dong exploded in anger, “Damn it, get him!”

Seeing this, Xiao Rongfei quickly spread her arms and shouted angrily, “Qin Dong, Mr. Chen is my friend. If you dare lay a finger on him—”

Qin Dong’s face was icy as he said, “Xiao Rongfei, get out of my way, or else—don’t think just because you’re a woman I won’t hit you too.”

Xiao Rongfei’s face flushed with rage. “You lost to Mr. Chen because your driving skills weren’t as good, and now you’re refusing to pay your debt. And on top of that, you want to attack him? This is all your fault!”

“Bullshit! Who lost a million to him? Do you have proof? Do you have a recording?” Qin Dong replied with open disdain.

Hearing this, Xiao Rongfei bit her lip in frustration. She had once thought highly of Qin Dong, but now saw how shameless and despicable he truly was.

Qin Dong, done arguing, glared and said, “Xiao Rongfei, are you moving or not?”

“I’m not,” Xiao Rongfei retorted furiously. “Mr. Chen is my friend.”

“President Xiao, step aside. If you really think these people can handle me, you’re underestimating me,” Chen Yang said coldly.

Surprised, Xiao Rongfei glanced at Chen Yang. Truthfully, she didn’t know much about him—only that he was the chairman of Huading Corporation. As for what kind of connections he had or how much influence he wielded, she had no idea.

While Xiao Rongfei stood in a daze, twenty black Mercedes sedans rolled in through the racetrack entrance in a perfectly ordered line.

Seeing the fleet, Chen Yang’s lips curled into a slight smile. “President Xiao, my people have arrived. You won’t be needed anymore.”

Xiao Rongfei looked toward the line of Mercedes, her face once again filled with astonishment. Qin Dong and his so-called underworld friends turned to look as well, each one filled with fear.

The twenty Mercedes formed a circle, completely surrounding Qin Dong and his group. Then the doors opened, and men in black suits began to step out one after another. Led by Wu Guangde, they walked up behind Chen Yang and, in unison, bowed and said, “Boss.”

Forty sharply dressed men bowed to Chen Yang, calling him boss. The sight was enough to shock and awe everyone present.

Sure enough, Qin Dong was dumbfounded. The man with the earring was equally stunned. As for Xiao Rongfei, she was utterly speechless, her eyes wide with shock.

She had only just met Chen Yang and could never have guessed that the young man before her, with his somewhat youthful appearance, possessed such power.

Swallowing hard, Xiao Rongfei felt her heart flutter unexpectedly.

With Wu Guangde and his men behind him, Chen Yang looked at Qin Dong again and said calmly, “I suppose I have more people than you.”

At this point, Qin Dong had lost all courage to oppose Chen Yang. He hung his head and muttered, “I’m sorry.”

“Did you lose a million to me?” Chen Yang asked.

Qin Dong nodded repeatedly. “Yes, but I don’t have the money.”

“No money? Aren’t you the so-called King of Cars?” Chen Yang’s face was full of contempt.

Qin Dong frowned and said, “I bought a house last month. All my money went into it.”

Chen Yang snorted derisively, then walked leisurely up to Qin Dong, who was already sweating with fear. But Chen Yang merely patted his cheek lightly. “With someone like you, daring to call yourself the King of Cars, acting like you’re above everyone else? Huh?”

Qin Dong lowered his head in shame, unable to utter a word.

Chen Yang continued, “Did you really think I cared about that million? What does a million mean to me? What I can’t stand is your arrogant attitude. With your mediocre driving, what right do you have to look down on others?”

Utterly humiliated, Qin Dong wished the ground would swallow him whole. His friends stood silent and frightened, none daring to speak.

Chen Yang patted Qin Dong’s face again, then turned to the man with the earring. “You wanted to fight me just now, didn’t you?”

The man with the earring forced a smile. “No, man, I wouldn’t dare.”

At that moment, Wu Guangde stepped forward and slapped the man hard across the face, roaring, “With your kind of nerve, you think you can touch Mr. Chen?”

Five bright red fingerprints appeared on the man’s cheek, but he didn’t dare make a sound.

Feeling that he’d made his point, Chen Yang grabbed Qin Dong by the collar and said icily, “From now on, don’t go around calling yourself the King of Cars. And next time you see me, you’d better address me as ‘Sir.’ As for that million, write me an IOU for half a million. Consider the rest as the price you pay for this lesson. Don’t embarrass yourself by claiming to be the King of Cars again, acting all high and mighty. Isn’t it shameful?”

Qin Dong hung his head in deep shame, silent.

Chen Yang turned to Wu Guangde, “Keep an eye on him and make sure he writes that IOU for half a million. From now on, the matter of collecting the money is your responsibility.”

Wu Guangde grinned with satisfaction. “No problem. I’m good at this. Leave it to me.”

Chen Yang glanced one last time at the crestfallen Qin Dong and sneered, “King of Cars, indeed.”

With that, Chen Yang had no desire to remain at the racetrack. He looked to Xiao Rongfei and said, “President Xiao, let’s go back.”

Xiao Rongfei quickly nodded. “Yes, of course.”

Chen Yang then got into Xiao Rongfei’s car and left the racetrack.

As she drove him back to Huading Corporation, Xiao Rongfei’s heart was filled with admiration for Chen Yang. She smiled and said, “Mr. Chen, your driving skills are truly first-rate. I never imagined you’d be so accomplished behind the wheel.”

Chen Yang responded modestly, “I just drive for fun.”

“No way,” Xiao Rongfei said with a bright laugh.

Chen Yang was already very capable, but what was even more impressive was his humility. To Xiao Rongfei, men like him were truly remarkable.

When they reached the entrance of Huading, Xiao Rongfei beamed at Chen Yang. “Mr. Chen, it’s such a pleasure to have met you. If I get the chance, I’d love to learn how to master such perfect drifting from you.”

Chen Yang smiled. “There’ll be time for that.”

With that, he didn’t linger, but patted her car window and said, “President Xiao, head back safely.”

Xiao Rongfei replied quickly, “Of course. Goodbye, Mr. Chen.”

“Goodbye,” Chen Yang waved as she drove away.

Once Xiao Rongfei was gone, Chen Yang returned to Huading’s offices. Before he knew it, the workday ended, and he left for home in a relaxed mood.

So far, his mother-in-law, father-in-law, and the rest of the family had no idea he was the CEO of Huading Corporation. They still believed he was making deliveries for a living.

Chen Yang found this arrangement rather convenient, sparing him a great deal of trouble.

He returned home in high spirits, ready to see what was for dinner. But as soon as he walked in, his mother-in-law, Han Qin, who was sitting on the sofa, suddenly snapped at him, “Chen Yang, I saw you getting into a woman’s car today!”
